U.A.E. Clamps Down on Night Travel Permits to Curb Virus Spread

(Bloomberg) -- The United Arab Emirates clamped down on the movement of vehicles during the night to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Travel permits will be suspended from 8pm to 6am to facilitate a cleaning program that is scheduled to end April 5, the Ministry of Interior said. The public should stay at home and go out only to buy food, medicine or for other vital needs.

The Gulf nation has reported 664 virus cases so far, including six deaths.
