The ‘I Voted’ Sticker Gains Poignant Relevance in Pittsburgh

(Bloomberg) -- An Election Day icon -- the “I Voted Today” sticker -- became something more for some voters in Pittsburgh.

KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh reported that special stickers were provided to voters in at least one site near the Tree of Life Synagogue, where 11 people were murdered on Oct. 27 by a gunman shouting anti-Semitic slurs.

The stickers include the words “I Voted” and show a Star of David and the legend “Stronger Than Hate.” Residents say the logo is a symbol of the city’s response to the killings.
