Pelosi Projects Confidence, Says Democrats ‘Will Win’ 

(Bloomberg) -- House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said, “When Democrats win - and we will win tonight - we will have a Congress that is open, transparent.”

Pelosi commented as election results began to come in, with Democrats picking up a couple of seats, however Republicans were holding strong in several key toss-up districts. It’s too early to project whether Democrats will win enough seats to take control of the House.

Democrats will strive for bipartisanship when in the majority, but “when we can’t find common ground, we will stand our ground," said Pelosi at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee event in Washington.
