Namibia Closes Airports, Imposes Partial Lockdown on Capital

Namibia joined other African countries in closing airports and imposing a partial lockdown on the capital, Windhoek, to try and prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

The southern African country reported its sixth confirmed case of infection and first local transmission of the virus that has killed more than 17,000 worldwide and ground economies to a halt.
