(Bloomberg) -- Israel will bar entry of foreign nationals arriving from Italy due to the spread of the coronavirus in the European country.

The Interior Ministry said in a statement that any non-Israeli who had spent time in Italy in the past two weeks would not be allowed to enter the country.

Israel has already barred entrance for foreigners who have recently visited a number of Asian countries, including China, Japan and South Korea.
