BlackRock Postpones Warsaw Conference Due to Coronavirus Risk

(Bloomberg) -- U.S. asset manager BlackRock Inc. postponed an investment conference slated for next week in the Polish capital due to concern over the coronavirus epidemic, the organizers said by email on Monday.

While no confirmed cases of the virus have been detected in Poland, BlackRock has imposed an internal travel ban “for at least the next 14 days.”

“We think that in the next couple of weeks the situation will calm down and therefore are postponing the whole event to the beginning of May, 2020,” the company said in a statement.
