Argentine Health Ministry Reports First Country’s Covid-19 Death

(Bloomberg) -- A Buenos Aires resident diagnosed with Covid-19 died today, Argentina’s Health Ministry said in a statement.

The 64-year-old had several underlying conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic bronchitis and poor kidney function, the ministry said. The patient returned from a trip to Europe on Feb. 25 and started experiencing symptoms three days later.

Health authorities are investigating to determine with whom the patient came in close contact.
