(Bloomberg) -- South Sudan President Salva Kiir and rebel leader Riek Machar will probably sign a peace deal on Wednesday, according to Sudan’s Information Ministry.

Sudan serves as mediator for the peace talks meant to end a civil war that’s continued for more than four years in the oil-producing nation. The Information Ministry sent an invitation for the signing ceremony to the media late Tuesday.

Machar’s spokesman, Peter Booth, had said earlier that two additional days of negotiations were needed.
