WTI, Brent See Seventh Straight Week of Price Declines

WTI, Brent See Seventh Straight Week of Price Declines: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- The Thanksgiving holiday week marked the worst period since January 2016 for both West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude oil, which shed almost 11 percent and 12 percent, respectively. The declines extended the global oil benchmarks’ slump to a seventh week amid concerns over a supply glut and potentially slowing global growth. The losing streak is now the longest since August for WTI, and since January 2015 for Brent.
