The relative rotation graph helps visualise the strength or weakness of a security in comparison with another security or a common benchmark.

The graph was developed by the quantitative analyst Julius de Kempenaer in 2005 and was made available on Bloomberg terminals in 2011. De Kempenaer explains to BloombergQuint how he developed the graph and how traders can make use of it.
