S&P 500 Falls 2.4%, Erases Gain for the Year

(Bloomberg) -- The S&P 500 fell 2.4 percent to erase gains for 2018 that reached 9.6 percent in September. The index of large-cap stocks has fallen 13 of the past 15 sessions, losing 8.5 percent in that time. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also turned negative for the year.
