Africa Airtel Becomes Nigeria’s Third-Biggest Company: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- Bharti Airtel Ltd.’s African unit is listing in Nigeria on Tuesday, after raising about $750 million in London at the end of last month. The continent’s second-largest wireless carrier by subscribers becomes Nigeria’s third-largest listed company, behind Dangote Cement Plc and the country’s telecommunications market leader, MTN Nigeria Communications Plc. Airtel Africa Plc is being spun off by its Indian parent to help pay down debt.
