Supreme Court Gets Four New Judges

The government notified the appointment of justices Hemant Gupta, Ajay Rastogi, MR Shah and R Subhash Reddy to the Supreme Court.

Four judges were appointed to the Supreme Court on Thursday, the Law Ministry said.

Acting on the recommendation of the Supreme Court collegium, the government notified the appointment of justices Hemant Gupta, Ajay Rastogi, MR Shah and R Subhash Reddy to the apex court on Wednesday night.

They are heading various high courts.

Justice Hemant Gupta "Chief Justice Madhya Pradesh High Court"

Justice R Subhash Reddy "Chief Justice Gujarat High Court"
Justice Ajay Rastogi "Chief Justice Tripura High Court"
