The U.K. economy is facing a tough challenge in the second half of the year. The uncertainty created by a wobbling global economy and a new prime minister promising a revised Brexit strategy is likely to mean growth remains volatile for the rest of 2019. Bloomberg Economics also expects the Bank of England to leave interest rates alone this year as it waits for the storm to clear.
