(Bloomberg) -- Copper concentrate imports are set to slide in India this year thanks to the shutdown of Vedanta Ltd.’s smelter. Shipments will fall to 850,000 metric tons in the year ending March 31 from 1.5 million tons the year before, according to Care Ratings Ltd. analyst Urvisha Jagasheth. That would mark the lowest imports in at least 13 years, trade ministry data show. India imports more than 90 percent of its concentrates requirement.
