(Bloomberg) -- French consumer sentiment jumped more than economists forecast in February, regaining all the ground lost after the Yellow Vest protests kicked off in November. Confidence at one point fell to a four-year low amid the violence, and retailers reported steep falls in sales. The rebound is good news for France’s economy, and indicates one of the temporary factors that hit euro-area growth may be starting to fade.
