Coronavirus India Latest Updates: New Infections Fall To Lowest Since June 2020

India's Covid-19 cases continued their downward trajectory as fresh infections fell to their lowest since June 2, 2020.

The country added only 8,488 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Nov. 22. That compares with nearly 12,510 recoveries in the period.

Active cases, at 1.18 lakh, account for 0.34% of the country's total tally— the lowest since March 2020.
