Coronavirus India Latest Updates: Active Cases Rise For The First Time In Three Weeks

India's active case load rose for the first time since Nov. 5 as the country reported over 10,000 new Covid-19 infections.

As many as 10,549 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Nov. 26. That compares with nearly 9,868 recoveries during the period.

Active infections account for 0.32% of the total case tally.

  • Total number of active cases: 1,10,133

  • Total patients cured/discharged/migrated: 3,39,77,830

  • Total deaths: 4,67,468

  • Number of fresh cases in last 24 hours: 10,549

  • One-day recoveries: 9,868

  • One-day deaths: 488

  • Vaccines given in the last 24 hours: 83,88,824

  • Total vaccines administered: 1,20,27,03,659
