(Bloomberg) -- The battle between hawks and doves on Europe’s policy normalization is set to intensify in 2018. Continued strong economic growth may increase speculation of a shift in the European Central Bank’s forward guidance for a definitive end to its bond-buying stimulus. That has led to money-market pricing for 2019 interest-rate rises looking the most hawkish in nearly two years.
