Emirates, which gets 60% of its Middle East revenue from Saudi Arabia, has to stop flying tourists from more than 20 countries to the kingdom to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Saudi Arabia suspended entry for nationalities holding tourist visas and coming from: Greater China, Iran, Italy, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Philippines, Singapore, India, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Somalia, Vietnam.
The passengers “will not be accepted for boarding at their point of origin until further notice,” Emirates said in a statement.
The world’s largest long-haul carrier operates 84 weekly flights to the kingdom.
