Fresh Covid-19 cases in India continued their spike, prompting cities in and around the national capital to re-impose a mandatory mask rule.
The world's second-most populous country reported 2,380 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the health ministry's update as of 8 a.m. on April 21.
Single-day recoveries came at 1,231, pushing up the active tally for the third straight day.
