(Bloomberg) -- Thanks to the likes of Kim Kardashian and Pharrell Williams, U.S. consumers are drinking more celery juice. Unit sales surged more than 25-fold across the country in the 12 months through May 2019, according to Square Inc., helping to boost the median price of a single beverage to $8 from $6.50 in the year-ago month. California, Florida and Illinois are the top-consuming states, according to the mobile-payment company, whose credit card-processing platform is used widely by independent coffee and cold-pressed juice shops.
