Movie theatre advertisements may be really annoying, but movie goers have little choice but to watch them before a film starts rolling. And UFO Moviez Ltd. is the largest in-cinema advertisement company in the country, prompting Rishi Maheshwari of Aksa Capital to put his bets on the stock.

“With its proposed merger with the second-largest in-cinema advertisement company, it will make them control the advertisement rights in over 70 percent of the screens in the country ,” Maheshwari said at the Alpha Ideas 20-20 event in Mumbai.

The stock picker said that the company's revenue from in-cinema advertising has tripled in the last six years, and its share in the total revenue has grown to about 40 percent from 25 percent since. “That itself speaks of the industry at large and the company's ability to exploit the opportunity.”
