U.S. Crude Stockpiles Drop to Lowest Level in 19 Months: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- U.S. crude-oil supplies declined for an eighth straight week to the lowest level since January 2016. Inventories slipped by 3.3 million barrels to 463.2 million in the period ended Aug. 18, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday. West Texas Intermediate futures prices rallied as much as 1.4 percent as the data helped ease glut concerns.
