Sundar Pichai Launches ‘Digital Unlocked’ Programme 

Google soon to roll out ‘My Business’ tool to help set up a basic website.

Sundar Pichai, chief executive officer of Google Inc. launched a programme aimed at serving as a growth engine for businesses called ‘Digital Unlocked’.

Launched at an event in New Delhi, the programme includes online and mobile based courses in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Indian School of Business.

Google will also roll out a tool called 'My Business' which will enable small business entities to establish a basic website, Pichai said at the event, which was also attended by Information Technology Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad.

Pichai will also visit his alma mater, IIT Kharagpur, for an interactive session with the students there. He graduated from there with an engineering degree in 1993, according to Bloomberg.
