The Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, gained 0.2 percent to 8,837.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session:

Hindustan Petroleum

  • Third quarter profit rises 21.8 percent to Rs 1,590.3 crore
  • Gross refining margins for the nine-month period ending December 31 stood at $5.57 per barrel compared to $6.35 per barrel
  • Declared dividend of Rs 22.5 per share
  • Government to receive dividend of Rs 1,168.3 crore

Container Corporation of India

  • Board of directors recommend issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:4
  • Declares interim dividend of Rs 9.6 per share
  • Government to receive Rs 106.22 crore

Infibeam Incorporation

  • Invested Rs 150 crore in one of India's largest payment aggregators Avenues (India) Pvt. Ltd.
  • Investment to acquire 7.5 percent of equity shares of Avenues
  • Infibeam's wholly-owned subsidiary owns 3.85 percent of equity shares of Avenue
  • Avenue to subsequently merged with Infibeam

Country Club Hospitality

  • Board of directors approve further issue of 5 million equity shares for Rs 13.31 per share on a preferential basis.
  • Approval to issue of 10 million warrants for Rs 13.31 on preferential basis.
  • Ind-Swift: To allot 3.82 million equity shares to promoter group for Rs 17.5 per share under the CDR package.
  • Polypex Corporation: Sells its stake in Peninsula Beverages and Foods Company Pvt. Ltd.
  • Allcargo Logistics: Transfer of container freight station business undertaking of Transindia Logistic Park Pvt. Ltd. has been approved for a revised consideration of Rs 805 crore with effect from January 1, 2017
  • Empee Distilleries: Sold 2 million shares in Empee Hotels
  • Vipul: To issue NCDs worth Rs 500 crore on private placement basis. The company already has shareholder approval to issue NCDs worth Rs 750 crore
  • Precision Wires: Renews working capital facilities from Societe Generale and RBL Bank.
  • JP Power Ventures: Board of directors approve private placement of 305.8 crore equity shares to lenders on a preferential basis to the extent of 51 percent of post issue equity share capital.
  • SKF India: Approval for proposed buyback of 2.6 million equity shares for Rs 1,500 per share amounting to not more than Rs 390 crore.
  • Jagran Prakashan: To buy 1.55 crore fully paid up equity shares representing 4.74 percent of the total paid up equity share capital at a price of Rs 195 per share, aggregating to an amount of Rs 302.25 crore on a proportionate basis
  • Muthoot Finance: Raises funds worth up to Rs 200 crore via private placements
  • Adani Transmission: To buyback non-convertible debentures from the existing debenture holders in one or more tranche to a total outstanding 35,800 NCDs of a face value of Rs 10 lakh each listed on the wholesale debt market segment.
