Petronet LNG, Shriram EPC, Axis Bank to remain in focus

The Nifty Futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, gained 0.4 percent to 8,568.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in this session:

  • Axis Bank: Cuts MCLR by 5 basis points across all tenors with effect from today. To also redeem $46 million of outstanding notes issued in 2006.
  • Shriram EPC: Bags order in excess of Rs 61 crore from the Karnataka Water Authority.
  • Aarti Industries: Approves buyback of 12 lakh fully paid equity shares for Rs 800 each. The total consideration of Rs 96 crore represents 9.62 percent of equity capital plus reserves.
  • Petronet LNG: Completed and commissioned two LNG storage tanks in Dahej LNG Terminal from 10 to 15 MMTPA.
  • Bharat Financial Inclusion: Issued commercial papers of Rs 100 crore which have been rated A1+.
  • Aarti Drugs: Approves buyback of 3.6 lakh equity shares for Rs 750 each. The total consideration of Rs 27 crore represents 7.8 percent of the total equity capital plus reserves.
  • HDFC: Total premium of HDFC Life grew 16 percent to Rs 7,649 crore for the half-year ending September 30, 2016.
  • Lakshmi Vilas Bank: To raise funds via QIP to meet Tier-I capital requirements.
  • eClerx Services: To buyback shares at a price of Rs 2,200 each to raise upto Rs 234 crore.
  • Reliance Capital: To raise Rs 50 crore by way of debt securities.
  • Orient Paper: To de-merge its consumer electric unit into a new unit called Orient Electric.
