The Nifty Futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, climbed 0.3 percent to 8,600.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session:

  • Yes Bank: Board to meet on October 20, 2016 to consider second quarter results and to decide on fund raising by way of QIP and debt issue.
  • Repco Home Finance: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registers a case against the managing director, chief manager and executive director of Repco Housing Finance Ltd., Deputy GM of Repco Bank, two partners of a private firm in Coimbatore and a partnership firm running businesses of textile machinery spare parts and real estate in Coimbatore.   • Wipro: Launches Treasury DNA Decisions and Analytics Platform, powered by BELLIN’s tm5.
  • Cox and Kings: Company owned Meininger Hotels to open in Milan by early 2018. Hotel will have 131 rooms and 491 beds.
  • Aditya Birla Nuvo: Managing Director Lalit Naik resigns.
  • Glenmark: Appoints Dr. Kurt Stoeckli as President and Chief Scientific Officer.
  • Karnataka Bank: Bags award for ‘Best Financial Institution (Southern Region)‘ from the Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) for the support extended to the export business.
  • Asian Granito India: Redeems commercial paper worth Rs 20 crore scheduled for expiry on October 10, 2016.
  • Shreyas Shipping: M/s Shreyas Relay Systems Ltd., the wholly-owned subsidiary of the company has decided to sell its 51 percent stake in M/s SRS Freight Management Ltd to M/s BSL Freight Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
  • Future Enterprises: To raise NCDs worth Rs 10 lakh.
