American shoppers were back in the groove last month as retail sales probably rebounded after retreating in August, economists project a report to show.

Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen speaks at a conference in Boston, while Bank of England Governor Mark Carney appears before the public in Birmingham, England. The Fed releases minutes from its September meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee.
