(Bloomberg) -- Facebook Inc.’s stock is testing a death-cross signal with its 50-day moving average falling below the 200-day line; the lines also crossed on Thursday, but then rebounded. While the shares are poised for their best week since April, technical analysts see such crosses as potential harbingers. After the lines last intersected, in a golden cross more than three years ago, the shares gained as much as 240 percent by the time they peaked in October.
