The company’s new flagship product will be available in six variants, and the pricing is introductory, Guenter Butschek, the managing director of Tata Motors said at the launch event in Mumbai.

Bookings for the Hexa commenced a few days ago, and the waiting period is already around eight weeks, Mayank Pareek, the president of the company’s passenger vehicles unit said. Tata Motors is looking to ramp up capacity for the Hexa, Pareek added.

Competitive Landscape
