The Nifty Futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, fell 0.4 percent to 8,064.

  • Zensar Technologies: Launches intelligence managed service platform ‘The Vinci.’
  • Reliance Communications: Transfer’s its subsidiary’s ethernet business division to a newly formed company Onyx NewCo LL. Onyx NewCo LL was sold to GTT Americas LLC for $28 million receivable in two installments.
  • TCS: Board of directors call for an extraordinary general meeting (EGM), seeking the removal of Cyrus Mistry as director on December 13, 2016.
  • Pratibha Industries: Receives a contract for a water treatment plant in Nepal worth Rs 97.8 crore. The company has won orders worth Rs 609 crore in recent times.
  • Cadila Healthcare: Board of directors approve transfer of Indian Human Formulations to wholly-owned subsidiary for Rs 69.3 crore.
  • Career Point: Acquires 1,68,000 equity shares of Gyan Eduventure Ltd., which now becomes the wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
  • Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra): Applied for unified license agreement for access service and internet service in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
  • IIFL Holdings: NBFC subsidiary India Infoline Finance Ltd., proposed to acquire 100 percent stake of Samasta Microfinance Ltd., an NBFC registered with the RBI based in Bengaluru.
  • United Bank Of India: Bank revises interest on domestic term deposits. Lowers interest rate by 25 basis points to 100 basis points depending on the amount of deposit and time period.
  • Edelweiss Financial: Wholly-owned subsidiary enters into a share sale and purchase agreement with Inditrade Business Consultants for the sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary Edel Commodities Trading for Rs 13 crore receivable in cash and shares.
  • Inox Wind: Company wins repeat order from Roha Dyechem for 40 MW wind power project to be deployed in Gujarat.
  • Canara Bank: Revises deposit interest rates in different maturities in retail and bulk deposits in the range of 5 bps to 25 bps, effective from November 21.
  • Punj Lloyd: Wholly-owned subsidiary executed definitive agreements with India Power Green Utility Pvt. Ltd. (IPGUPL) to co-develop 30 MW of solar assets in Uttarakhand.
  • Reliance Industries: Partners with GE to drive digital transformation in the industrial world.
